YVR closes as fighter jets chase ‘target’

Feb. 8, 2010, Vancouver – Vancouver International Airport was closed to takeoffs and landings for
20 minutes while two CF-18 military fighter jets scrambled to intercept
an unknown "target of interest" last week, a Transport Canada incident report
